Dr. Raquel Butler

Dr. Raquel Butler is a highly experienced veterinarian, educator, and bodyworker with a deep passion for horses and education. After qualifying as a veterinarian at Melbourne University in 2004, she spent several years in mixed and small animal practice before specialising in equine therapy and rehabilitation.

Her extensive qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine (chiropractic, osteopathy, and rehabilitation), a Bachelor of Science (Hons), and a Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education. She is also a certified Equinology Equine Bodyworker and Instructor.

Dr. Raquel has studied numerous bodywork modalities and has been mentored by Dr. Sharon May-Davis in anatomy and biomechanics, participating in many dissections. She has previously taught in the Bachelor of Equine Science program at CSU, Wagga Wagga, and now runs courses in Functional Posture, helping horse owners and professionals improve equine movement and performance.

She also co-hosts The Equine Functional Posture Podcast with Sophie Vandenberg, where she shares her expertise on equine biomechanics, bodywork, and functional movement. Through her work, Dr. Raquel continues to bridge the gap between veterinary science, biomechanics, and hands-on therapy to enhance horse health and performance.

Emma Loftus

Emma Loftus is a qualified and registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Practitioner with a thriving mobile practice across Regional Victoria and Interstate. She is also a certified Equinology Equine Bodyworker, Equine Iridologist, and a student of Equusoma (Horse-Human trauma recovery).

Passionate about Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Emma sees it as a path to deep healing and transformation. Rooted in Indigenous wisdom, nature’s laws, and embryological forces, this trauma-informed approach supports the release of physical, emotional, ancestral, and epigenetic imprints in both horses and humans.

She looks forward to sharing this powerful modality with you
